Bella Dahlheimer, (she/they), is an enthusiastic therapist who creates safe spaces for individuals to navigate challenges, validate experiences, and foster personal growth. Comfortable serving individuals of all ages, Bella specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or from systemically oppressed and marginalized communities. In session Bella primarily utilizes DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, while also embracing aspects of Psychodynamic, Family System and Gestalt principles. With a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's in Gender & Women's Studies, Bella has a strong foundation in understanding the needs of marginalized communities. Her background in education and social work includes roles as a School Social Worker, McKinney-Vento Liaison, and Sponsor for the Gender & Sexuality Alliance/PRISM Club, allowing her to hone skills in serving diverse youth and families. Outside of the clinical setting, Bella enjoys spending meaningful time with her spouse, their 2 children, and their 3 dogs. You can typically find Bella voraciously reading, watching all of the Star Trek series while crocheting, knitting, or quilting. Matthew works with individuals and families of all ages. He has significant training and expertise in the treatment of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders
Matthew is a skilled clinician who focuses on identifying patterns that may no longer serve you, while igniting your motivation for positive change. Drawing from his background in special education and clinical practice, he employs a person-centered approach enriched by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and experiential therapy. Matthew specializes in ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and provides academic and special education support, collaboration, and advocacy. Beyond his therapy practice, you can find Matthew in the psychology department at COD, inspiring college students and future clinicians alike.

Brenda Kendziera, LPC

Brenda is an engaged and curious therapist. She is eager to help clients identify core issues and find paths towards healing and growth. Her therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Joel enjoys supporting teens and adults as they navigate various transitions and developmental stages. He provides values-based counseling approaches that can help clients confidently assess options and choices. This approach provides clients with a foundation they can rely on for life long growth and development. Joel also works with adults who would like to explore and enhance their relationships with their teenage children. Here, Joel uses developmental theory as a lens to promote healthy communication and interaction. Joel has completed his ADHD-CCSP (Certified Clinical Services Provider), which gives him advanced insight into holistic and empirical treatment strategies surrounding both adolescent and adult ADHD. Working with educators, specifically in the areas of burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and educator-student interactions is an area of experience and passion for Joel. Validating the increasingly heavy burdens of educators, Joel utilizes CBT and DBT to help educators identify areas of need, while providing tangible strategies and techniques to use both inside and out of school. Joel holds a license to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin which is an added bonus for young adults and families that split their time between the states for school or business.
